About Us
Our story began as an experimental event designed to offer a new convention experience to the Puerto Rican community. The event was created by Viviana Delgado Nieves (Show Producer) and the company; “Eventos Pal’ Pueblo”, Promoting Local Entrepreneurship. Since our inception in 2022, we have become the fastest-growing anime convention in Puerto Rico. Our mission is to offer a quality experience in a family environment for lovers of anime, manga, video games, cosplay, fandoms, and popular culture in Puerto Rico.
The reception for THE PILOT PROJECT was highly positive from our audience and was mentioned on Telemundo during a segment of the television program, Día a Día. It was there that we found that there is a market with very high potential in events focused on popular culture. Thanks to that response, we decided to prepare a subsequent event where we raise the quality of our offerings and distinguish ourselves as a “premium” event for audiences in Puerto Rico.
In December 2022, our sequel event was presented with a WINTER EDITION. It took place at the Marcelo Trujillo Coliseum in Humacao, P.R. For WINTER EDITION, we incorporated several of the elements that the audience found positive in the last event, including the Cosplay competition with higher prize money than that of THE PILOT PROJECT, video game tournaments of video games, Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart, and the participation and collaboration of several sellers of merchandise related to popular culture on the island.One of the attractions that we consider among the most important of WINTER EDITION was the participation of our first special guest. We found that, in popular culture events, a factor that greatly influences the attendance of individuals is the presentation of a special guest as an attraction so that audiences can meet the actors who bring their favorite characters to life.
For WINTER EDITION, we counted on the participation of North American actor; Sean Chiplock. Sean Chiplock, in recent years had been part of the Top 10 Most Popular Voice Actors, with participation in several popular series and video games, including Genshin Impact, Tokyo Revengers, Marvel’s Avengers, etc.

Following the success of our previous two events, we once again embarked on upgrading our event standards by developing our biggest event to date, NATSUMATSURI. The event, which its name translates directly to “summer festival” was an outstanding success, with superb positive feedback from our attendees. Our event completely sold out both days, with 3,000 attendees each day, rounding out at 6,000 attendees over the entire weekend. We held many activities over the course of the weekend and counted the participation of renowned voice actors: Adam MacArthur, Robbie Daymond, Ray Chase, and Kaiji Tang, who are best known for their work together as the main cast of the popular anime series Jujutsu Kaisen.
