Puerto Rico Sekaiju Con welcomes members of the press and content creators who wish to cover our event. We appreciate your interest. Please read the following guidelines and requirements for press registration.
The media credential request for Puerto Rico Sekaiju Con will be available from June 12th to August 2nd, 2026.
In order to be eligible for a press pass, applicants must belong to one of the following categories:
- Printable Press: Writers, editors, and photographers for newspapers, magazines, and/or journals.
- Broadcast Media: Reporters, camera crews, and producers for TV and/or radio stations.
- Online: Bloggers, YouTubers, podcasts, Content Creators and online journalists with a substantial following and regular content updates.
- Freelance: Writers or photographers with proof of recent publications in relevant media.
This accreditation is exclusive to journalists, press teams, reporters, digital influencers, and content creators. Other professionals who identify as media but do not fall into these categories will, unfortunately, not be able to apply for credentials.
Application Process
Applicants must complete the online registration form listed above. If approved, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions regarding event coverage.
Kindly, if you are a journalist associated with a media outlet, please register using your corporate email.
Press Badge Policies
- Access: Press badge holders are granted access to the event, panels, workshops, and special events. Special Guest interviews may be requested, but are not guaranteed.
- Non-Transferable: Press badges are non-transferable and must be worn at all times.
- Photography and Filming: While photography and filming are generally allowed, please respect the privacy of attendees and follow general common courtesy rules when approaching members of our audience for interviews and/or filming/photography.
Coverage Expectations
Press pass holders are expected to:
- Produce Coverage: Create and publish content about Puerto Rico Sekaiju Con.
- Share Links: Provide links to your coverage for our records.
Important: All requests will be evaluated individually. Filling out the form does not guarantee access to the event.
