Puerto Rico Sekaiju Con’s history started out in the middle of 2022, once the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions began to lift and life slowly returned to a sense of normalcy. As one of the very first conventions to return post-pandemic, many cosplayers and convention-goers were eager to attend, which led to a massive turnout and thus began the story of Sekaiju.
As we prepare for the next edition of our show in 2026, we are also pleased to confirm that we are already in the development stages for our future shows, including the 5th anniversary of Puerto Rico Sekaiju Con (2027). We can’t wait to share more details with you soon and we look forward to seeing you all at one of our shows very soon!
